Boris Bidjan Saberi FW 2012 Backstage Video
German-Iranian designer Boris Bidjan Saberi debuted his Fall Winter 2012 collection at Paris Fashion Week to much acclaim. Utilizing his signature draping and layering, the designer’s sophisticated urban collection sports a somewhat futuristic quality and features shades of grey and green, allowing the designs to stand apart from those of Saberi’s associated peers. Maison Martin Margiela 2012 Spring/Summer Pixelated Low Top Sneakers

One of the first drops from the Maison Martin Margiela Spring/Summer 2012 collection is this reimagining of the brand’s classic low top sneaker. Taking the German army trainer and giving it a facelift, the kicks sport a pixelated woven canvas upper in navy and sky blue. Made in Italy, the timeless silhouette features a leather lining and footbed alongside a gum sole, tongue patch branding and signature white stitch detailing. The low-top trainer is now available for €331 EUR (approximately $439 USD).

Continuing to stay in line with the late Alexander McQueen’s forward-thinking and conceptual approach to fashion, the latest footwear option to be released from the designer’s collaborative team up with PUMA comes in the form of the Dextral Mid for Spring/Summer 2012. Drawing inspiration from McQueen’s “Fight or Flight” theme, the shoes are a perfect embodiment of combined style and comfort as it sports an artistic eagle print across its leather upper with a full leather lining and a sports-centric lightweight rubber tooling. A signature Alexander McQueen embellishment sees its way on the shoe’s heel portion, while a co-branded silver tag on the tongue rounds out the design. Now available throughout select PUMA stockists.
